Hi. I saw your concert at the Yellow Sub on Tuesday and enjoyed it very much. It was special. The synthesis of different kinds of music was still unified (groove) and moving emotionally.

PHil Unger just passed along your info for Friday night and I'm SO sorry I'll be away in DC playing a gig. We should meet some time! Really enjoyed your compositions and playing on your website.

I also play wood flutes, in particular a great one from Phil (1904 Haynes) and a new Powell as well. But still enjoy my Miyazawa silver as well. Full time klezmer flute over here with a long career in classical (college prof and symphony position to "pay the bills"...) and so....we should jam sometime or at least meet in the city :-)

I saw Charanga Soleil at the Jazz Standard while I was on holiday in New York in July and you were all fantastic! You really looked like you were enjoying the music, it was a classy act. I saw Nancy Wilson and also Rachelle Ferrell in concert in the same week, and together you all made the best holiday!
